Scott launched Resonance Campaigns after nearly six years with the direct mail firm Gumbinner & Davies Communications. Previously, Scott worked as a pollster, conducting polling and focus group research across the country. His extensive and diverse experience makes him unique among direct mail consultants, and helps guide his analytical approach to communications.

Sean Whitson

Over the past decade and a half, Sean Whitson has been responsible for some of the most creative and effective mail pieces in Democratic politics. As Creative Director of two national mail firms, Sean drew on his experience in corporate communications to create award-winning direct mail. Sean holds an MFA in Creative Writing and has published his poetry in a number of journals and magazines. Now, he insists attack ads are a kind of poetry.

Tricia Cavell

With over a decade of industry experience, Tricia is skilled in all aspects of the design process — from conception to completion. She has produced effective, award-winning direct mail and marketing collateral for Democratic and advocacy campaigns across the country. A native of New Jersey, Tricia was trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

A recovering lawyer, Aaron spent time working for statewide elected officials and on campaigns in California, Arizona and New York, as well as on the Hill and at the Department of Justice during the Obama years. Based in his home state of California he is helping expand the firm’s footprint to the Pacific Time Zone.

Over the last decade Amanda has helped numerous Democratic candidates and organizations reach their win number, most recently managing the race for Cincinnati Mayoral candidate Yvette Simpson. Working on the ground for the State Democratic Parties of North Carolina, Ohio, and Georgia she specialized in field, targeting and executing Get of the Vote efforts. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Amanda helps ensure a strong presence for the firm in the Midwest.

Amy is a proud native of Raleigh, North Carolina who only puts up with Washington, DC because of how much she enjoys electing Democrats. She is an experienced political operative with a love for casual phone banks and canvassing in the crisp fall air. Prior to joining Resonance Campaigns, Amy worked across the country on various campaigns, from local to presidential, and for national political committees in DC.

Caroline has worked in progressive direct mail since 2014, helping to craft targeted messaging for a variety of clients, including union affiliates, state legislatures, and congressional candidates. As an account executive, she is experienced in overseeing all steps of the mailing process and keeping everything on track.

Prior to joining Resonance Campaigns, Jonathan managed campaigns at nearly every level on the ballot, led electoral and advocacy efforts for the Florida Trial Lawyers Association, and managed independent expenditure efforts for the National Education Association. His diverse background and extensive experience in Florida gives him a unique understanding of the state and how to construct coalitions to help our clients win.

Juan Pablo Rivera Garza

Juan Pablo recently graduated George Washington University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a minor in History. He has already amassed a great deal of political experience, having worked on a number of progressive campaigns ranging from gubernatorial to congressional, and a couple of stints on the Hill. His passion for politics stems from his experience helping his parents study for their naturalization test, since then he has pursued any opportunity to make his mark on his adopted country’s body politic.

Juliana began her career as an Art Director at LOWE SSP3 in Colombia, an award-winning, multinational advertising agency where she was involved in every aspect of the creative process. While there, she worked on projects for clients such as Copa Airlines, Axe, and Unilever. Since relocating to the United States, Juliana has managed creative direction and design for large corporate clients, and political campaigns at all levels including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for president.
