The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) is the nation’s fastest growing public employee union with more than 1.6 million members including nurses, first responders, corrections officers, child care providers, sanitation workers, and more.
We couldn’t be prouder to partner with them to communicate with their members and affect public policy on behalf of working Americans.
We have designed direct mail programs to persuade and motivate AFSCME members to support candidates at every level of the ballot. At the heart of our philosophy is connecting the values of the candidates with the needs of AFSCME’s members. In 2015, we helped AFSCME in their support of the election Jim Kenney as the mayor of Philadelphia, ensuring the country’s fifth largest city would continue to fight discrimination and respect equal rights, protect public schools, and honor its commitment to retirees. We also helped them ensure working family-friendly Democrats David Wecht, Kevin Dougherty, and Christine Donohue were elected to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
In 2016, we helped them engage their membership in Alaska, California, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington state to encourage them to vote in the primary and general presidential elections.
