Working with Elizabeth Guzman in the 31st District, we helped her campaign successfully navigate a tough primary that saw most of political establishment line up behind her opponent.
Laying out Elizabeth’s progressive vision, showcasing her inspiring spirit, and illustrating that she was the candidate who had earned the trust of Democrats and progressives got her through to the General and positioned her well to take on 8-term Republican incumbent Scott Lingamfelter. Elizabeth unseated Lingamfelter by almost ten points and became one of the first Latinas elected to the state legislature.
